LOOPZU X DUNI
LOOPZU X DUNI
In 2018, we partnered with the Duni Foundation, a project led by La Toya Montoya, to create a collaborative collection with Argentine artist Luciano Denver. Since then, we have invited different artists each year, making this project an iconic collaboration. Artists such as Paulo Licona, Christian Abusaid, Tahuanty Jacanamijoy, and Javier Caraballo have also joined this initiative.
These collections showcase the popular and contemporary art of these artists, blending their work with our brand to raise funds and support the development and improvement of educational spaces for children from indigenous communities in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, specifically in Katanzama, through the Duni Foundation.
LUCIANO DENVER
VIDA CARIBE
We came together to create Vida Caribe, a collection inspired by the Colombian Caribbean, starting from the artowork “República Caribe” by Luciano. Each t-shirt represents a unique location and tells a story through vibrant colors and lively imagery, influenced by indigenous communities, pirates, or the rich linguistic heritage of the region.
PAULO LICONA
AMOR PARA
Throughout history, love has consistency demonstrated itself as the sole universal language, the essence that grants significance to our human journey. Regardless of gender, religion, beliefs, or values, love is the power that has managed to bring together even the opposite poles.
By giving love, you are already giving everything. By receiving love, you are already receiving everything. And for that reason we all require love to...
Love to nurture, love to thrive, love to resonate with the Sierra.
CHRISTIAN ABUSAID
CORAZÓN DEL MUNDO
We share the same heartbeat, a powerfull energy that emanates from the heart. We are interconnected with the earth, a living organism that sustains us and when observed from within, reaffirms the absense of division of borders
This collection celebrates and expresses gratitude towards ancestral cultures that serve as a reminder that this is the land that unites us all.
TAHUANTY JACANAMIJOY
REAL MARAVILLOSO
His works revolves around activating the inherent living power within imagery, serving as a means to reconnect with ancestral body technologies and expierences attached to the physical self.
He is particularly focused on creating visual reminders of the lessons and wounds that emerge during ritualistic moments, ranging from mystical encounters to celebrations or carnivals.
This collection draws inspiration from Tahuanty’s artistic journey and the profound influence of their indigenous heritage and teachings.
JAVIER CARABALLO
BACANERÍA CARIBE
Javier Caraballo was born in the Caribbean, on the Colombian coast, in Barranquilla, where "Bacanería" is a way of life. "Date la buena vida" is one of the phrases of this charming visual artist, who this year joined Loopzu in their traditional collection for the DUNI Foundation in its latest edition.
More tropical than ever, we present to you "Galería Caraballo: Bacanería Caribe", an edition made with love for the Republic of Love, Colombia, through the eyes of Caraballo.
